Meet Dr. Dao

Dr. Anh Dao’s dedication to creating positive impacts in the lives of others led her to a career in healthcare from a very young age. She is proud to be able to bring her creativity and passion to the orthodontic field and make a genuine difference. Dr. Dao truly believes in forming meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients during their individualized smile journey. She is committed to providing personalized, compassionate care, and is looking forward to meeting your family!

Education and Continuing Education

Dr. Dao is a board-certified orthodontist. She has a background rooted in bench research as a published author in multiple scientific journals, as well as a background in teaching as an experienced tutor and standardized test prep specialist. Dr. Dao strives to bring these experiences in evidence-based investigation and positive education to all aspects of her orthodontic practice. Dr. Dao is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. She strongly believes in the importance of continuing education courses to consistently expand clinical knowledge and enhance treatment mechanics.

Personal Life

Dr. Dao was born in Saigon, Vietnam and grew up in the DMV area. She is an avid road and gravel cyclist who has recently completed a 150-mile bikepacking trip from Pittsburgh, PA to Cumberland, MD! Dr. Dao also enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and video games as a lifelong PlayStation fan. When not in the office, she spends much of her free time with her close-knit family and her Ragdoll kitten named Udon.
